Few years ago a new measure was introduced by (Sumi, Róbert, et al. "Characterization and prediction of Wikipedia edit wars." (2011): 58.) to characterize the conflicts on Wikipedia. Later models were developed to simulate these conflicts (Török, János, et al. "Opinions, conflicts, and consensus: modeling social dynamics in a collaborative environment." Physical review letters 110.8 (2013): 088701.). These models show phase transition between the war and peace states as certain Wikipedia pages in reality. The aim of this work would be first to redefine the quantity defined in the original paper to be bounded and normalized and to measure and model the different type of conflicts. There are constructive debates which ends in a reasonable compromise while many recent disputes are just wars of faiths. The aim would be to find data on both types of conflicts and modify the existing models to recover the observed behaviour.
